I’ve been a bit quiet the last week or so — I took a short break for my 42nd birthday and headed out to Palma.

Absolutely lovely place. Calm, sunny, and nothing like Magaluf down the road, which I visited when I was 18 (that’s a story for another time…).

But while I was away, something clicked.

The break gave me space. Headspace. Thinking space.

And what came out of it was a reminder I’ve learned over and over again:

Let’s be honest for a second.

Running a business can feel brutal at times.

You wake up at 3 a.m. with that pit-in-your-stomach feeling, wondering how you’re going to cover your bills this month.

You go from a great month to a terrible one, and it feels like nothing’s consistent.
Your bank balance doesn’t reflect how hard you’re working.

You keep trying new things, reading more books, watching more videos — but deep down, you’re spinning your wheels.

You’re firefighting.
Juggling.
Spinning plates.
Barely paying yourself.

And struggling to switch off mentally, even when you’re with family or meant to be relaxing.

It’s exhausting.

You feel like you should be further ahead by now.

But you’re stuck.

And worst of all?
