1️⃣ Big News: I’m Becoming an EOS Implementer!

I'm thrilled to announce that I'm training to become an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) implementer. The EOS is a powerful system designed to help business owners like us stop making things up as we go along. It breaks down into six key segments: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction. Each segment provides a structured approach to managing and scaling your business effectively. Ever since reading the book Traction 5 years ago, we have been running on the ‘EOS’, and I am taking it to the next level by becoming a Professional EOS Implementer. By following this system, you can create a business that's less reliant on you, allowing you to focus on growth with less stress. And don't worry if you're used to working with me as your Profit First coach—I'm not disappearing. I'm merely expanding my horizons to add even more value to business owners!

2️⃣ Follow Your Own Path

We’re all unique individuals, and it's so important to move towards what fascinates, motivates, and energises us. This ties directly into my journey with the EOS system—it's about recognising that we can be more than just one thing. As I expand my role from a Profit First coach to an EOS implementer, I’m embodying the principle of being "AND" rather than "OR."

Don't limit yourself to just one role. Building a business should mean making the most of meaningful opportunities and not becoming a slave to it. The EOS system helps us do just that by providing a structured approach that allows us to manage and grow our businesses effectively. It encourages us to explore different aspects of our professional lives, just as I am doing by embracing both Profit First (Sorting out your finances) and EOS (scaling a business with a proven system).

It's about finding what you're passionate about and letting that drive you. Whether it's scaling your business with EOS or getting on top of your finances with Profit First, the key is to embrace the roles and opportunities that interest you. Remember, one of the main goals of building a business is to take advantage of opportunities and not be confined to a single path. By doing so, we create more value for ourselves and those we work with.

3️⃣ Keep It Simple, Stupid (KISS)

One of our core values is KISS—Keep It Simple, Stupid. When Steve Jobs returned to Apple in the late '90s, he streamlined everything, focusing on a few core products. This principle is about cutting through the clutter and focusing on what truly matters. While I love embracing new opportunities, I believe in the power of simplicity. It's about finding balance and learning from contrasting perspectives.

Interestingly, there's a contradiction in the fact that I'm doing more, yet there's synergy in it all. By focusing on what truly aligns with my goals, I'm able to integrate new roles and responsibilities without losing sight of simplicity. Keeping things simple allows us to take on more without getting overwhelmed, ensuring that each new opportunity complements the others and adds value rather than complexity.

4️⃣ Facing Financial Struggles? Write It Down!:

If your finances keep you up at night, it’s time to tackle the problem head-on. Often, waking up in the middle of the night is our subconscious mind's way of picking on us. It's like when you've closed all the windows on your computer during the day, but the hard drive still has everything saved in the background. These unresolved issues can wake you up at night because they haven't been dealt with during the day.

Writing down what you owe and your monthly payments on paper or a spreadsheet can be a powerful tool. It helps get these worries out of your head, providing relief and clarity. By seeing things as they are, you can create a realistic plan to move forward. Profit First is one system that can guide you from point A to point B, and while it's not the only solution, it definitely works. Using this approach can help relieve the mental burden and allow you to sleep better at night, knowing you have a clear path ahead. It's a sign to take action and address these concerns directly.
